Andrea Hitchon
Andrea Hitchon joined the Government of Canada as a risk assessor in 2015. She has experience reviewing the environmental and food safety of genetically modified crops. Focusing on non-target organisms, Andrea provides advice to policymakers and helps determine the information requirements needed to assess different products. Andrea holds a Master’s of Science from the University of Guelph, Canada.
